July 18, 2014.  Major New Release,  a "Star Trek Opera."  A group in the Southern Illinois Music Festival has re-purposed Mozart as Star Trek.  Posted by Calib Gomes on July 9, 2014: (1:55:56).  (Golden Age, Adults, stage, sets, costumes.)  You can't have Star Trek Opera without Klingons. They offered the live audience subtitles, and for the film, subtitles in English would help a lot.  Mozart's The Abduction from the Seragilio (1:55:56). July 5, 2014.  MAJOR NEW RELEASE from Red Chair Media, a new Fan Film Series, Starship Valient, "Legacy" (With English and Latin Spanish (Argentine) subtitles:) (19:47).  With Portuguese subtitles: (19:47) NOTE BENE:  This, to the best of my knowledge, is the first Live Action Adult-made Star Trek Fan Film about an African-American Captain.  A nice Star Trek celebration the same week the Civil Rights Act of 1964 turns 50.  There is an older short (under 10 minutes) film featuring a fan playing Uhura, and there were African-Americans who created animations at Go!Animate when they had the Star Trek characters.  For more about Starship Valient see
