July 27, 2016, Michael Liebmann, prolific fan voice actor with dozens of credits in different Star Trek fan films and audio dramas, died unexpectedly of surgical complications last night. Liebmann was best known for his roles on Starship Excelsior (Alex "Bev" Rol), Outpost (Jack Graves), Lost Frontier (Weyoun), Valkyrie (Commander Andrew Miller), and Grissom (Dr. Liebmann). He also appeared in Diplomatic Relations, Defiant, Henglaar M.D., Federation One, Osiris, Dark Armada, Hidden Frontier's Star Trek: Odyssey, and many other programs, from Mariner to Titan to Star Rabbit Tracks, plus other non-Trek audio plays. A true optimist and popular filker, Michael touched tens of thousands of lives through his voiceover work, and he will be profoundly missed by the entire community. His funeral will be held on Sunday, July 31st at 10AM at Mountain Sinai Memorial Park in Simi Valley, California (6150 Mount Sinai Dr, Simi Valley, CA 93063).
